Well the iPod Photo is $499 in the US but �359 in the UK, so you (and the residents of Regent Street) should be safe.
Even so, a �350 mini-Mac would be interesting. I don't think there's much doubt that Apple could produce one at that price (basically an eMac with the top sliced off). It could compete not just against Windows but also Linux as it sounds like it could work as a cheap server. An OS X server for the price of a Sun RaQ.
