That said, it takes up a huge amount of space on the desk, and lifting it is definitely a two-person job (mainly for back-preservation reasons). And like all CRTs it's traditional proportions:- 4:3. One thing I do like about the LCD screens is the wider aspect.
Finally, I don't think the eMac CRT is up to Iiyama standards!

Place any LCD next to a good quality CRT and you know what I mean. Until Sony starts mass producing large quantities of organic flat panel displays I rather use my CRT.

Mac mini plus 17" LCD + kbd + rodent isn't that much cheaper, if at all. Mac mini is aimed at a different market.
