The B/W is a great machine, it's never going to be a Graphite G4 or a Dual 1.24Ghz system. But considering i've used them at work, there's not a lot of difference between the speed in OS 10.3 between any of them. You'll only notice it in other apps, like Photoshop.
The Radeon Mac Edition, came in two version 32mb and 128mb. I'm not complaining it works fine. I could have bought a Radeon 7000, but they aren't as fast as the original Mac edition cards. According to xlr8yourmac.com that is :).
Oh and Susan, getting a monitor for a B/W ain't hard, just buy a PEECEE monitor, so long as your video card has the VGA connector, you'd be fine. I'm running with a digimate 17" Flat screen TFT and the only trouble i've had is that it doesn't see all the resolutions my TFT can do. But any old CRT will work fine.
Been having fun an games with a Powerbook 165. I want to use it on my LAN, but achieving this is becoming a nightmare..Don't suppose anyone has an Old copy of Stuffit Deluxe? :-) I need a copy desperately.
Regards James
