Last time I looked into it two-way satellite cost GBP900
up front for the equipment, and GBP90 a month for the 
connection.

I can't justify more than GBP50 a month for broadband, and
can't find any interest in connection sharing among my
few neighbours (farms with their accounts on 486s running
DOS-based programs).

BTW if I still lived in Wales the government would subsidise
the satellite cost to match ADSL price - oh well, I'm not
bitter, honest ;^)
