Mark (and also anybody else using iSync with a mobile phone), what's your
general feeling regarding iSync? I used it on my iMac under Jaguar for a
few months and was quite impressed - it was rock solid. But in March/
April I moved over to using it on my iBook under Panther and it's slowly
driven me up the wall. This is with a Sony/Ericsson T610 and Palm Zire.

Early on it used to crash about 1 time in 3 and the next sync would
duplicate a load of my iCal entries. The Panther updates have fixed the
crashing but I still get duplicated calendar entries on a regular basis...

...which brings me onto iCal. Is anybody else using this in anger? The
duplicated entries don't help the fact that iCal is slowly grinding to a
halt on my iBook. OK, it's "only" an 800MHz G3 but...it's just a calendar
app! I seem to have to double- or triple-click on entries just to get
some kind of recognition. When syncing I'm told that there are currently
about 5000 entries in the calendar, presumably due to my repeating items
- is this too much? Are there any other calendar apps that I can use for
home and work and also sync?
