The few I've had in 10.3.x have just come out of the blue while running
software. Since maxing out the RAM in the iBook I haven't had any more. 

Just as importantly, I haven't had for a while any "I haven't kernel
panicked but I'm going to lock the Finder completely so that either the
mouse freezes or it does move but you ain't gonna be able to do anything
with it or the keyboard" moments while copying big files via wireless.
