Hi all I'm trying to get my 3400c Powerbook sorted out for wireless and can't quite seem to crack it at the moment.
Here's the set up: 3400c, 200mHz with 144mb RAM (thanks for the 128 chip, Malcolm - picked it up today!), running 9.1 Lucent WaveLAN Silver Turbo wifi card IOXperts driver for 802.11b Trying to connect to Netgear 802.11g network, which currently serves my iMac and my son's PC with no problems. The IOXperts stuff has installed properly on the Powerbook, as it appears in the Control Strip and detects the Netgear network. One green light comes on the end of the Lucent card, and the other one flashes from time to time, but all attempts to call up websites, download mail etc fail. In the IOXperts Settings panel there appears to be naff all signal detected. Any suggestions, anyone? cheers Russ -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
