I seem to remember trying to install an update without the previous version installed and IIRC it simply asked me to insert the CD with the older version (which it somehow confirmed and promptly spat out) and after I did that it installed fine (without installing the older version first). I might have dreamt it (if I did I need to remember the name of that substance :)) Anyone else confirm or deny this? I am fairly confident that this was the case with the Jaguar update from 10.1 because I remember seeing some posts on other sites saying that for this to be correct the update CD had to have a full version on it and everyone was looking to see if they could unlock it to work without the need for the previous CD version at all...
