I'm the only person using my system, no other computers in the house
can go on line.

I didn't download anything wierd like video files etc.

Fraid my line of repair is in the crappy network area so the vagaries of how BT measure usage are beyond my knowledge but I have started asking questions. My guess is that a mistake has been made somewhere I doubt that some one else has been using your connection. They didn't ask you for extra money did they?

John,
Thanks for replying, and as I said, there'll be a floodgate of stuff for you now you've declared your job!
But, yes, they say it will be included on my next bill- £12 charge!
Someone said I should ask for the URL that "I" downloaded 8G from.
Do you know if BT can give that sort of info?

Thanks again for replying, and no worries if you don't know all the answers!
Cheers,
Davy
