I agree with Mark on this, I have never had a problem with it, it's easy to configure and gave me the most value for my money when I was looking to buy. The only issue I have consistently faced is the one about it not configuring properly with Safari. Which apparently is down to the way Safari handles Javascript because it's fine in FireFox. Apart from this iChat issue, I have never had a problem, and would infact recommend it as a pretty nifty all in one box (modem/router/ethernet switch) solution.
The Safari issue is resolved in OS 10.4 as the Javascript engine (along with a lot of other stuff) has been totally re-written. I have successfully used my DSL-540T with Safari in Tiger several times now without any damaging consequences.
I'm just waiting for the 10.4.1 patch to come out, then I'll upgrade to Tiger and all should be well. :)
Well I'm *hoping* that will fix it, I don't by any means place any guarantees on it though.
