This works after a fashion,
I assume you are on OSX
Download this Application called "print window" from Versiontracker
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12161
Use this to print a PDF of the window you want to list. (having
chosen to list the folder by date created/modified in the print
window application options)
Open Safari
Open a blank window in Safari
Drag and drop the PDF into the safari window
You can now copy and paste all of the text from the PDF into Word.
There is another app also downloadable from versiontracker

It purports to convert PDFs to various formats although the above
method is free!

alphabeticl order but it won't Sort in date order (I thought maybe
the dates were 'hidden' somehow).
How can I sort these jobs into date order? Previously, I have put
the date in manually but this takes forever.
This is in Word for the Mac. I have also tried with AppleWorks and
it doesn't work.
