The answer is simple. Log into your BT Yahoo! webmail page and turn
the filter off, as soon as possible. This is not a joke, or an over
reaction, legitimate e-mail is being trashed here.

I can confirm this - a client of mine claimed they never received mail
from me. When I investigated during a visit, I discovered all my mail
from m4mac.co.uk was being caught by the spam filter. Oddly, mail from
my gmail account was successfully delivered! Go figure ...

It seems totally arbitrary. I just don't understand Yahoo!'s logic, nevermind anything else!

While I am on a 'rant', my experience as an IT professional in dealing
with BT Internet
and their various 'entities' such as OpenWorld, BT-Yahoo!, BT
broadband - has been nothing short of appalling.

I would estimate that 90% of my ISP related visits to clients are BT
related. I suppose I should write a letter to their CEO thanking him
for all the business opportunities created for me by what must be the
most incompetent technology company in Britain.

The problem is thus: BT Residential customers get treated like crap because BT assume they know crap all. Business customers get treated well because BT expects them to know what they are doing, UNLESS they sound like they don't then BT treat them like morons as well (I get no problems from BT Business Broadband C.S. people but my boss does - no prizes for guessing who the IT genius is!! ;o) ). YMMV but that's what I've found.

Recently I talked a client out of signing up for BT Broadband and
referred them to Zen. They called me yesterday to thank me for the
'excellent advice' - the irony is that by suggesting a competent ISP,
I 'did' myself out of a job!

LOL, yes there is always that.

So everybody - sign up with BT they are wonderful (for my bank
balance) - and when you reach the point of despair - my number is at
the foot of this message!

That was a joke right....
