Hey there
I've had a problem surface recently on my 15" 1.25 Ghz PowerBook.
Specially, I'm getting wake from sleep problems. The drive spins up,
the sleep light goes off but the screen remains black. The desktop
never asserts itself, anbd I eventually have to force turn the
PowerBook off.
I've tried rebooting several times but no joy. I also tried to reset
PRAM but the box won't bong more than once.
I've tried reseting the PMU using these instructions
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449
even though they don't specially address the 1.25 15" model. I've
done the battery removal / press power for 5 sec approach, as well as
the cntrl-command-option-power key approach as well but still the
PowerBook won't reboot.
Any thoughts?
I'm ok in terms of data as I've also got a 12" G4 PowerBook which is
my primary Mac.
