Is anyone else concerned, as I am, that LEM is washing its hands of us?
Seems likely that the Mac UK list will be forced (with little more than a
barked order) on to Google Groups fairly soon. Does any one want to step in
with an alternative and shove a firm middle finger (metophorically,
obviously) to Google? Google bastardised the wonderful Deja news service to
create what is now Google groups. They absolutely trashed what little they
left of the Deja News interface when the "mailing list" groups beta came
about, and made searching the Usenet archives absolutely hell. I used to use
Google Groups daily to search for programming help, but it's almost
impossible to do that now. Google, as usual, are trying to be too much, and
doing it badly. Google Groups is a bit like a poor imitation of Yahoo
Groups.

Anyone else got a chip on their shoulders like me, or should I sit in
silence till the end? ;-(

Matt
