A Mac can work on any web server . It does not make a difference but those servers running on windows sometimes do not provide some services that are available . All servers run to some extent on Unix. OSX is based on Unix.

So with Mac OS X based on Unix, does that mean ....if the server which is running windows, supports Unix...then all of the Unix supported things(like I'm guessing mail, ecommerce, etc) will be able to be ran with Mac OS X?
