Kim Blair:
We don't have dream weaver but I am wondering if a
person could learn to web design by using it.
I would say that anything is possible, Kim. Give it a try! It's been
DreamWeaver.
...can one design a page with DreamWeaver and then copy
paste the html over from the DreamWeaver into BBEdit and
see what it looks like? Or does Dream Weaver add a bunch
of other stuff into the coding?
DreamWeaver and BBEdit can talk to each other, Kim. It's built into their
structure. One can create a WYSIWYG layout in DreamWeaver, then view and
manipulate the code in BBEdit. Very slick!
DreamWeaver, at least up to v3, tends to create superfluous code. It
works, but it's not pretty to look at.
Good luck!
