aquavcl01 is currently in a bad shape. Lots of crashes make working with this version almost impossible in every way.

True.

That's why I propose that we all stop working on new stuff at the moment and solely concentrate on stabilizing this
version as is in cvs

I just will add Ismael post is an excellent summary ( at least what I understand) of the situation.

We are several to ( try to ) search since yesterday, but the cause is not clear, and the bug(s) looks silly.

(without new stuff not yet ready and checked-in etc.).

What do you mean with " stuff not yet ready checked-in " ?

From my side, I'm working with m196, very stable for what I am testing. Other point : everything I want to add is tested and verified by others.

We need a stable version first as a solid base for the further work.

Sure

Opinions?

I already did on IRC, and I forgot something : who wrote the code relative to CallCallBack(), and all Handle... Events ?

Maybe this is one Mac porter, and we should start asking him more infos ? Once we can understand this part more deeply, then I'm sure we will be more to help more efficiently.

For that, I propose a wiki page to collect all usefull infos about that, because *we need* to document everything to progress, and see - asynchronously- the state of the work. One more time, document is not spare time. As a proof : we are stalled today.

The URL is :

<http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/ Aquavcl01_tasks#Fix_crashes_in_Aquavcl01_.2B_m202>

Last but not least : Yes, this is a good idea, and we all agree with that. I' m just very curious to know the exact reasons of all those new crashes introduced with m202 ( but we have to search first)

Regards,
Eric
