aquavcl01 is currently in a bad shape. Lots of crashes make working with this version almost impossible in every way. That's why I propose that we all stop working on new stuff at the moment and solely concentrate on stabilizing this version as is in cvs (without new stuff not yet ready and checked-in etc.).
We need a stable version first as a solid base for the further work.
Opinions?

+1

That means focusing not on top ten issues, but on top 4 ? :-)

6) http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=72248 : aquavcl01->vcl compiled with debug crashes 7) http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=72250 : aquavcl01: toolbar icon click -> crash with native menus 8) http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=73691 : aquavcl01-> calc does instant crashes in some situations 2) http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=73689 : aquavcl01-> fix redrawing/refresh issue on Aqua version

I did a complete build and started debugging with gdb, but i would feel much more comfortable and efficient with XCode's debug. I tried instructions on the MacOSX_Debug_OpenOffice.org_using_XCode build it doesn't work for me :
- when adding a custom executable,
if i choose "<install_dir>/OpenOffice.org 2.2.app/Contents/program/soffice_bin", i cannot debug : menu item "Debug OpenOffice.org" is grayed if i choose <install_dir>/OpenOffice.org 2.2.app/Contents/program/soffice", i can select menu item "Debug OpenOffice.org", XCode launches OpenOffice, but XCode launches AppleScript /java debugger instead of gdb ! Of course, the debugger says "failed to open debug file"... I found no options to force XCode to use gdb...

Before that, i compiled vcl (no other module) with debug=t
Is something missing ?

Thanks,
