Hello Michel,

I was in Bruxelles (FOSDEM not yet finished) when I saw/read your patches, but it was not possible for me to answer you before ( I'm just back at home).

What you did is very interesting and prooves us one more time we are not far with fonts too :)

The first track is of course continue to describe, and document what we understand, and try to reproduce ..etc

I'm not sure this is the point Sebastien was interested for, but breakpoints are not working for me using XCode : I see breakpoints as " set " ( i.e. active ), but in runtime, no break ?

I have not enough knowledge in fonts to deeply analyse the differences, but i suppose it can be interesting... Maybe we'll have to change defaults settings about défault font's name : OOo define "Lucida Grande" and Mac OS uses "Lucida Sans"...

Yes, but this is not simple : the first rule we have to follow is try to modify only in aqua tree. If and only if we don't find a solution, we will try to modify in common part (I meant vcl common part).

Waiting, thanks for your work and your time :-)

Eric

P.S. : I'd suggest you to use -u option when you create your patch, e.g. :

diff -u file.old file.new > my_fantastic_patch.diff
Note : use .patch or .diff as suffix is a good choice because some editors directly recognize them as patches, and the syntaxic coloration is available. Just a suggestion of course :-)
