I have just tested a change in fontcfg.cxx, and Michel is right : there
is something wrong with Locale
Just a uggly hack, for the first one, and Lucida Grande is working for me :

To be applied, this patch has to be put in sources dir (the one
containing all modules )
then do from this dir :
patch -p0<aqua_hack_for_Lucida_Grande.patch
I'll test/create other patches , and announce them asap.
Sure, use and select fonts would be another big step forward !
