I'll test onto our very heterogen parc, with ou server based onto AFS
(Zdrew File System) with location of OO, with ou AFP mountpointes,
and then into Application into NetBooting....
Just time to repaair our server ;-)

AFP bug. It's some time ago, but I still remember we fixed that on
demand : in the administration using OpenOffice.org ( 450

As Eric wrote, accessing Documents on AFP Volumes works without
problems
since a while now. What still doesn't work is accessing storages (like
services.rdb), which is needed to run OOo from AFP Volumes (see
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=70976).
