IMHO, what's the sense of doing aqua if it's just going to be a lipsticked pig shadow of Windows OOo? I don't want Aqua if it just LOOKS nice and Mac'ish; it has to BE nice and Mac'ish. You can't be a little bit pregnant to Macheads or potential users. If it's not an improvement over NeoO, what's the point? That's what the critics are going to say -- and publicity goes. Now I'm no programmer, but one solution might be offering that rare Windows person trapped into having to use Aqua OOo an option of switching superficial user interfaces within Aqua OOo into a Windows look-a-like function-a-like, like Kaleidoscope does with OS-9 without having to tear an OS apart implementing such. Just a hick notion from a no-programmer peon.
