Greetings:
In this age of viruses and spam, are we permitted to e-mail you (and
where?) screenshots and text samples of incidents which we come across,
like inserted text overrunning page boundary fields in Write to better
explain what's going on?
VERY nice text rendering in Write! I envy Linux OOo no longer!
A 116 page Courier 12 formated screenplay in OOo 2.2 at 75% page width
has roughly the same page width and character formatting as in OOo 2.3
Aqua at 81% with Courier 15. Don't yet understand such stark differences
in page percentage sizes and font size changes between OOo versions.
Can't further determinate further until runaway text selection problem
is stabilized.
I suggest an "easy button" option to transfer current OOo and NeoO prefs
and configs and dictionary data into Aqua.
Scalable-sized tab/margin markers.
Create new file from text selection option.
Cursor is too tiny and difficult to track of within Open file boxes.
Alt-. keys should break you out any running process like runaway scrolling.
In future: Drag and click rearrangement/addition/subtraction of all
toolbar icons. In these, a feature in Draw to allow you easier create
and auto-install your own.
Also, regarding icons in drop menus and such. Personally, I might not
need or like like them, but then there might be those who regard such as
being "warmer" user friendly touches in Aqua OOo as opposed a cold stone
giant like MS Office. I think in back all the important stuff,
personalized feature issues ("Human Factors") should always be
considered too.
