I'm sorry, I did not make myself clear. I am not a programmer and have absolutely no idea what one would do with a "milestone build", I'm a user. The version I installed is still the version that is posted as a "stable' alpha when OpenOffice.org *users* click the links starting from

Sorry, but stable and alpha are mutually exclusive. If you download the alpha build, you get a current development snapshot that is not considered "stable". The current stable version would still be the X11 build.

so my suggestion for the next "stable" build is to correct the logo so the common folk like me are sure what version they are using.

That's a good idea anyway. I'm sure when we provide the next build the intro bitmap will be 2.3.

btw, OOo for Mac has come a long way in the past year, since I last tried using it (but simply could not deal with X11 for the lack of copy-paste with other apps, and having to use Ctrl insteadof Cmd on a Mac, and so on)

Thanks !

Kind regards, pl
