Hello Bernadette, I find the name of the downloaded file strange. Where did you get it from? For Tiger: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/x11-104.html Normally the dmg mentions whether it's for Intel or PPC, and which is the interface language Or did you simply cut the end of the name? For US English and Intel, this link should do it: http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=macosxintel&lang=en-US&version=2.3.0 Downloading with Safari doesn't always work out (maybe with the new Safari 3 it does). Firefox should work better (although I also encountered downloads that quit on the last moment...)
