Hello,
After some tries** to make the pretty OpenGL transitions from Radek
Dulik work on Mac OS X, I came to the conclusion that the most simple
way is to implement OpenGL , SalOpenGL .. AquaSalOpenGL as expected in
vcl, and not elsewhere.
Uh, sorry, but those are not really used anymore. Even when they were
they were only used for animating the 3D drawing objects. The canvas is
completely independent of that.
The previous try (not working, for a lot of reasons) is
http://eric.bachard.free.fr/mac/aquavcl/patches/aqua_April2008/Canvas05/CGL01/i_canvas05_enable_openGL_macosx_CGL01.diff
(For Philipp: you're right, pView is NSView* , not void* like in the
patch, not up to date ;) )
I don't know much about this, but perhaps it would be the right solution
to create an NSOpenGLView which can then use the NSView gotten from
vcl's SystemData as superview.
Kind regards, pl
