Wow, thanks!

Only...

I don't even know what aquavcl08 stands for, never mind install and build etc.
Does this mean I just wait for the next version of Beta?

The Input Menu bug (not being able to swap keyboard layouts using the
keyboard) has already been reported as issue 89133: I've confirmed it. It had several duplicates, as people have reported it in different ways, but
the issue is the same: these system-wide shortcuts don't work in
OpenOffice.org 3.

Short story:
Already fixed in CWS aquavcl08 and accelerators01 (i88582).

Long story:
During the conversion of modifier (MOD1) from Control to Cmd in
aquavcl07, a bug in the event handling is sneaked. Additionally, a
key conflict for non-breaking space with the Input Menu key appeared
since the MOD1 transition.

The event handling bug has been fixed in aquavcl08, and the key
conflict seems to be fixed in accelerators01. Perhaps you will be
able to use Input Menu keys after disabling non-breaking space key
manually with the upcoming milestone.
