swipe: I guess no worries about that one, just page up/down,

magnify: this would normally zoom in/out of the page, but what
should happen e.g. when a draw object or image is selected? Should
the selected object be enlarged or just zoom in/out of the page as

To make it consistent across modules I would default this to the
zoom functions.
Actually I like the idea of being able to stretch and rotate the
currently selected object.
If you have it as an enableable option so that people can choose
exactly which features are enabled. Think trackpad preferences.
Unfortunatly I don't have one of those new laptops for testing.
rotate: when an object/image is selected, this will be rotated, but
if we just have e.g. an open page in Writer, should this be able to
automatically switch the current page to landscape and back or
would that be to much magic?
-1 from me for rotating writer pages. I would only makes this
available as a separate option but default to doing nothing.
Have it as a preference.
