I'm sorry, but I have similar opinion like Eric has. There's no need
to reinvent wheel. If we want to have Mac compliant interface, we have
to apply Apple HIG rules. I'm not against Renaissance project, but it
can slow things down in my POV.

My proposal is ...

 - finish shortcuts analysis (started at Wiki page)
 - gain some agreement on what we should change
 - inform documentation people about our changes
 - make agreement on target OO.o version with them
 - make all necessary changes in one or more CWSes to get them integrated

... all these steps should be well documented at shortcuts Wiki page.
