I've tried the recent version of macfuse with sshfs. It works very well. There is one thing that I would like to request, though: A "clean" installation.
That is, rather than macfuse installing itself in two or three directories under /usr/local, /Library/Extensions, and /System/Library/ Filesystems, could it install its files in /usr/local/macfuse? Then make symlinks to those files from all the places it used to install? That, to me, feels "cleaner". Better yet would be for it to not install anything in /System/Library/ Filesystems at all. Would it be possible to get by with installing macfuse's parts from that directory into /Library/Filesystems instead? While I know it's not 100% possible to attain it, I would like to keep /System as clean as possible. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "macfuse-devel" group.
