As I understand it (and please do correct me if I'm wrong), Amit's  
team does *en*courage user-to-user support, including on this very  
mailing list, and including for sshfs.app. They just don't want the  
macfuse project's ticketing system to be (ab)used for it, nor do they  
want Google to bear any responsibility.
