Not quite in the same thread but at
<http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/issues/detail?id=159#c16> I have
added my most recent comments regarding directories that are
presented to me as

drwxrwxrwx

but for the affected server, Finder can
_not_ copy to any such directory.

(Copy to other SSHFS volumes is fine.)

In my case, system.log offers no clues.

I _suspect_ that the service denies write privileges for any file with a
._ dot underscore prefix, effectively contradicting the
drwxrwxrwx of the directory to which the write is attempted.

If any reader has experience with SFTP service administration, with
particular attention to risks associated with NTFS ADS (alternate
data streams), I'll be very pleased to hear from them. <http://
code.google.com/p/macfuse/issues/detail?id=159#c16> will probably be
the best place for thoughts/comments ... although I'm a user of
MacFusion, I'll guess that this obscure issue may ultimately affect
some other of MacFUSE.

An additional keyword _may_ be
Novell

Thanks
