So if I understand this correctly, there is no way for a read-only MacFUSE filesystem to notify listening kqueues of changes from within, because the only way to cause those kevents to be sent is by writing to the filesystem using normal system calls? Can anyone confirm or counter this? Also, does anyone know of any way MacFUSE might be changed to appeal to the Finder's strange logic for recognising kqueue?
