Also, the argument "I'm not using Objective C" is reasonable. Arguing against it seems (to me) similar to saying "why can't the whole world just speak american?". My code base is C++. You can't "just drop in" Objective C into a carbon program, there's lots of stuff ObjC programmers take for granted that C++ guys have no clue about. Right now i want to get work done, not spend time learning the intricacies of supporting a new language. I don't want Interface Builder, i don't want nibs, i just want to get something done today.
Perhaps, if it's easy for *you*, you'd be willing to help me integrate this? How easy is it for you to make a new *carbon* XCode project (that runs it's own event loop), and then shoe-horn some ObjC complete with nibs and all, into it? Still, i'm trying, i really am, but i'm now spending all of my time trying to get this ObjC thing to work, and zero time implementing my FuseFS. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "macfuse-devel" group.
