Apologies to the group, I'm not a developer and this is my first post to the group. I have a question about macfuse and encfs. I did search the archives and didn't find an answer so here goes.
I'd like to use macfuse along with encfs to create user space encryption of an entire home folder such as what is described in the following link: http://andrew.org/hacks/stealth_article.html I like the idea that a user can login with an un-encrypted home and then mount the encrypted fs over the unencrypted one using the "nonempty" option. It doesn't appear that macfuse supports nonempty. Can someone confirm this? I also realize this isn't an encfs support forum, but if anyone has suggestions on how to make a Mac user's home space work with encfs and encrypting the entire home folder, that would be much appreciated. I'm going to hack away, but if it's been done before, pointers are welcome.
