Do you mean not anymore or they never used it? 

Many user problems were reported due to MacFUSE version conflict with 
Parallel in the Summer but indeed not anymore. They explained in the 
knowledgebase and support forums that Parallels Desktop use MacFUSE to 
mount Windows drives to the Mac Desktop. I don't know what exactly this 
means but some users say that Parallels Explorer is actually an interface 
for MacFUSE and NTFS-3G, so one can access NTFS without going through 
virtualization.

What I certainly know is that VMware uses it.
