I finally got around to submitting those changes.  The change also enables
extended attributes if you want to use them and has a few other minor
tweaks.  Please let me know if any new issues were introduced.  In
particular, I'm curious if enabling extended attributes causes any issues
for existing FUSEObjC filesystems.
