I did check there and yes the sftp volume that I want is mounted in / Volumes... the only issue is that I had expected it and would like it to show up on the desktop. It would make more sense for me and just be easier overall. I don't just want to have a shortcut... if that's the only way I'll go for it. I'm on Leopard BTW 10.5.1
