Some terminology first: you installed "MacFUSE". Not "FUSE", or "FUSE/
macFUSE".

With MacFUSE 2.0 and above, you shouldn't be running the uninstall
script manually. The preferred way to uninstall is:

1. Go to System Preferences, then to the MacFUSE pane, and click on
"Remove MacFUSE". *IF* this is an official installation (that is, some
repackager hasn't changed something), this should uninstall all
components except the prefpane itself.

2. Remove the prefpane how any other non-Apple prefpane is removed.
When in System Preferences, control-click (right-click) on the MacFUSE
icon and the context menu will let you remove it.

If step 1 leaves behind "fusefs.kext", then either you knowingly or
unknowingly have an unofficial MacFUSE 2 distribution, or there's a
bug in the uninstallation mechanism.
