OK. Thanks. You had already posted the content of Q 1.3 in answer to another post and this is where I had read it. I'll try to remove the files manually to see if this resolves the problem.
The problem I'm encountering (MacBook refusing to boot from internal hard disc) appeared after I installed 3 items: MacFUSE, MacFusion and Apple Remote Desktop 3.2. I tinkered a bit with Apple Remote Desktop and MacFusion, trying to access a remote iMac over the internet. This operation did not succeed (probably because I am a neophite). I then could not boot up normally. Originally, I found my computer blocked on a blue screen with a small white square on the top left of the screen. Since then, I have booted from an external hard drive but still can only access the internal hard drive (from which I removed in the Applications folder the MacFusion and Remote Desktop icons). When I try to boot up from the internal hard drive, I no longer get the small white square but I still block on the blue screen (with the mouse cursor appearing in cycles). Any idea how I might solve this problem? Thanks again for your patience. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
