This is one case in which I'm HAPPY to be wrong  ;)

Thanks for the quick response.   I imagine I'm probably not the only
one who was confused about this.  The last I heard a couple weeks ago,
I thought the NTFS/NTFS-3G dependencies were buggy/un-stable in Snow
Leopard.  I understand that it doesn't work in the 64-bit kernel ---
who's using that right now anyway?

I just read the thread, and understand the difference between MacFuse,
NTFS/NTFS-3G.    Are you saying that the NTFS-3G is stable and/or
working well right now in Leopard?  (In your experience... I'm not
asking you to support or speak for other people's software).

Off-topic, but somewhat related:  The last I tried, I wasn't able to
duplicate my SSHFS success on my Snow Leopard machine (that I was
previously using on my Leopard / PPC box).  I guess I should RTFM and
"try, try again"??
