In Terminal type sudo rm /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs That will remove the symlink or error if fusefs.fs is a directory Then run the MacFuse installer again.
Thank you very much for your help! I do have a a few really quick questions if you don't mind: #1) I'm assuming that I need to run the code for 10.5 (even though I upgraded from 10.4). #2) The code you gave above was: sudo rm /Library/Filesystems/ fusefs.fs and the code in the other post you referenced was longer with: sudo /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/uninstall-macfuse- core.sh Does it matter which one I choose? #3) I'm assuming I cut and paste in the code exactly as it is including the extra "space" with no underscore in the "sudo" and "rm" portions. Many thank you's again. I'm going to back up everything on my Parallels side of the computer before trying this (just to be uber conservatively safe on the side of caution) and once that is finished, I'll check back in here and then go ahead and try to enter the code later tonight as I'm out and about all day today. I'll certainly let you know how it works out either way. Have a great day! :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
