Hi: We are working on an LTFS Beta project. We are trying to mount a tape drive and restore files media files that were downloaded from Video Camera to PC to Tape Drive.
The software requirements we have are below. Yesterday, I installed an ATTO ExpressSAS H680 HBA into a Mac G5 running Mac OS X 10.5.6 As part of the installation I also installed MacFuse 2.0.3.2 and ICU 4.0.1 Then I installed ltfs-.tar.gz. I have made a directory /mnt/lto5 When i run the following: $ ltfs /mnt/lto5 -o devname=0 I get the following output: administrators-mac-pro:~ Admin$ ltfs /mnt/lto5 -o devname=0 LTFS14000I LTFS starting, LTFS version 1.0.1 (201008130), log level 2 LTFS14064I Sync type is "unmount" LTFS12158I Opening a device through iokit driver (0) LTFS12118I Drive identification is DRIVENNN' LTFS12162I Vendor ID is XXX LTFS12159I Firmware revision is A3K6 LTFS12160I Drive serial is nnnnnnn LTFS11005I Mounting the volume LTFS12015I Attempting to load the medium LTFS11031I Volume mounted successfully kextload: /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext loaded successfully administrators-mac-pro:~ Admin$ mount_fusefs: failed to mount /mnt/ lto5@/dev/fuse0: Operation not permitted Any ideas on how to fix this problem? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
