I will not use a private port. If I can't compile it myself, it has no
use to me. Others likely won't use it either.

The Tuxera 2.1.9 64-bit code works well enough for me — it's
rock-solid, and while improvements (especially for performance) would
be nice, if they are closed-source they're absolutely not worth it.

(IMHO I consider taking such a project and making closed-source
improvements leeching from the community. Stuff like this strongly
convinces me to use GPL for my projects.)
