It's been very stable for me under 64 bit kernel. The only complaint I have is the 2.1.9 built from Tuxera floods your dmesg. Building from the released 2.1.9 source requires patching up macfuse_buildtool.sh and some code (I think it's calling one of the deprecated method on SL). Besides that, it seem to be working nicely.
