How MacFuse got there:

It is entirely possible another application you installed has
installed this as a part of its dependencies. It would seem strange
that MacFUSE itself would have any interaction with iTunes, perhaps if
you could share a screenshot of exactly what is happening because I'm
not entirely sure why. Check out section 1.3 in the FAQ for more
information about what MacFUSE is as to why this is probably not the
case but most likely the application dependent upon MacFUSE. In which
case uninstalling MacFUSE may not resolve the situation if the
application requires it to operate or if it automatically reinstalls
MacFUSE anyway.

I have never installed this GD thing but it generates incompatibility
errors repeated when I open iTunes. It opens them by the dozen
stacking up up on my desktop so that I can no longer use iTunes on one
of my computers.
When I search for it on my hard drive, it doesn't show up.
How do I get rid of it???
