Hi All, So it seems as though I am not the only one having this problem. I updated to Lion without knowing that I should uninstall MacFUSE first. This seems to be wrecking havoc on my system and I am desparate to get rid of it. I have tried tons of stuff from the remove function in the preference pane to manually removing pieces. I have tried everything mentioned on this page: http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/issues/detail?id=36&can=2&q= to no avail. I keep getting this message when I try to uninstall it:
bash-3.2# sudo -s /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/uninstall- macfuse-core.sh MacFUSE Uninstaller: Can not find the Archive.bom for MacFUSE Core package. I have even tried re-installing MacFUSE (new and old versions) so I could uninstall it! Can anyone help and offer guidance??
