Wow... Been doing this stuff for 20 years and have never been so confused. So I am a bit new to the mac world be very experienced with linux. I was wanting something simple to mount variant file systems and ran across the original macfuse...
Well, I am running lion and go figure. doesn't work. Actually it is bad-ware in the sense that it appears to install (leaves some file system footprint, as well as installs in system preferences, but just doesn't completely install, nor work (can't even use the uninstall, because the system preferences app thinks it is not installed). Then I went and got osxfuse. It seems to install well, and based on the fact I have truecypt installed as well, it seems to be working - BUT no one said it did not have the macfuse interface (dammit!). So then I went to find a macfuse port I could get working (Bryan Phams, Tuxera...) Bryan's doesn't seem to exist anywhere. Tuxera is just like original macfuse on lion. So WTF people? Is there a lion based "fuse" implementation (or combination) that works and provides an interface (as well as supports the plugins?? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacFUSE" group.
