What do you mean by MacFUSE interface? If MacFUSE is not installed and 
TrueCrypt is working fine I draw the conclusion that you installed OSXFUSE with 
the MacFUSE compatibility layer, right? Then you should have all important 
components that MacFUSE would install, namely libfuse, libfuse_ino64 and 
MacFUSE.framework. From the perspective of a MacFUSE file system every needed 
component should be there.
