Tony, I know all about that Pandora's box.and what happens . And if I
followed Ward's advice who's probably worried that I would totally ruin
the computer's brain ( he always gives me warning signals that certain
things in computers better be left alone- I suppose he is repairing
mishandled merchandise) But remember :through Eve's curiosity we came
into what the Catholic church calls the "Happy Fault" - we have
decision making power with all its ramifications. -Knowledge, of
course, is a two-edged sword. - But why I actually want to be able to
open those many icons, I would like to throw away what doesn't belong,
is superfluous and does not impair the computer's running. Deleting the
wrong thing might deprive the computer of its iron and make it run
sluggishly, or I will do away with something necessary to run a certain
program- and I want to become more knowledgable in the computer
experience. So: I click - therefore I am.
